Trimester 1:

Module 1- Focuses on the Great Depression. Our novels for this module are Bud, Not Buddy, and Out of the Dust.

Trimester 2:

Module 2- A Hero's Journey, includes the following novels include Ramayana: Divine Loophole, and The Odyssey. 

Trimester 3:

Module 3- Narrating the Unknown, includes the novel Blood on the River and nonfiction text Written in Bone.

Module 4- Courage in a Crisis, includes the nonfiction text Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World.
