To start off your child’s school year right, here is a brief list of school supplies that your child will need on the first day of school.

Supplies to send to School: 

-1 Book Bag (with folder received at orientation inside)

 -*2 Sturdy Pocket Folders (optional-see below)

-1 pencil box for individual writing/drawing supplies (large enough for pencils, crayons and a glue stick)

- snack and drink packed daily (I recommend a water bottle daily)

Supplies to have (and keep) at Home: -Crayons, pencils, markers, Construction paper and writing paper , glue sticks.

Please print your child’s first and last name on all his/her school supplies, as well as his/her bookbag. Please print your child’s name on all jackets, sweaters, snack bags, umbrellas, and hats too!

*One of the pocket folders will be used as your child’s Independent Reading Folder, the other will be their morning work folder

(If you would prefer to use a pocket folder available from the school...we will supply that for your child and have it available the first day of school)

The Teachers...Parents Communicator folder you received at Orientation will become your child’s book bag folder. Please make every effort to keep this folder inside your child’s book bag as it may be filled daily. Your child will place items that go home to you on the right side (Keep at Home) and you will return items that go to school on the left side (Return to School).

Throughout the school year we may request other specific items that we will need for various projects. We will send notes at the time that these items are needed. Thank you for preparing your child with the necessary tools to make the start of our school year a success!
