Students are recognized during the month of their birthdays. You are welcome to send in treats for your child’s birthday during the designated day for each month. Full cakes and goodie bags are discouraged. Please send in a peanut-free and store-bought treat. Please notify me in advance if you are going to bring in treats for your child. Each child is recognized on or as close to their birthday as possible! Birthdays in July & August are recognized in June.
The classroom discipline plan & consequences are reviewed with the students. If a student requires multiple warnings to stop a behavior, s/he will complete a THINK SHEET and/or Letter of Apology. This THINK SHEET will be sent home for parents to review and sign.
