HHS Marching Band Performs at UPenn for College Football Halftime Show
On 9/24, marching band students arrived bright and early (5:30am!) to the Harrison High School band room, where they warmed up and loaded a bus for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. In the days leading up to the performance, marching band students participated in extra rehearsals and home practice to be ready to perform three pieces along with the UPenn Marching Band during the UPenn vs Lafayette game.
Walking into Franklin Stadium for the first time, guided by Dr. Kushol Gupta, UPenn marching band director. Dr. Gupta and his marching band students spent the full day prepping the HHS Band for the halftime performance and sharing information about what it's like to be a student at UPenn.
The HHS Huskies Marching Band rehearsed with the UPenn Band for two hours upon arrival to the UPenn Campus.
