Roman Candles is a student-led independent band that I work with my friend Justin, our lead guitarist, Jake, our singer and rhythm guitarist, and Lucas, our bass guitarist. 

We have been writing and performing original music together since late sophomore year. We play primarily for friends and family and have also performed at small events. 

As the drummer, I write, create, and perform my own parts to help establish the foundation of our songs. I also contribute to overall song structure and arrangement. 

I also help coordinate rehearsals and use my understanding of rhythm, timing, and musical dynamics to support the band’s creative direction and live performances.
