Avery has been a varsity cheerleader since the eighth grade. She has three national medals, four all league titles and four All- American titles. She was a flyer for her first three years and is now a side base.

Since Avery was five, she had been a competitive figure skater with strong hopes for the olympics. She decided to hang up her skates in seventh grade to try something new. But her love for the sport has resurged and she hopes to do it in college.
