SPARK, through a focus on creative exploration, interdisciplinary learning, and community connections in the creative arts, offers the following programming areas for students to engage in creativity.
Inspiration occurs when student artists get to work with masters in the field. Artist Ambassadors will not only include opportunities to see/hear/move to and with artists, but will always contain a talkback and question answer session to help students build creative capacity in their interest areas.
Learning from our alumni and community artists, the SPARK Amplify Podcast works to integrate student voice and leadership using their skills in interviewing, producing, and engaging with others to bring creative voice to their community.
Sharing our creativity with the community is the ultimate culmination of our creative journey. SPARK Spotlight will allow students to share their voice, their work, their music, their movement, and their personal creative spark.
SPARK community members will learn from local artists during our day long SPARK Symposium. Artists representing student interests and passions will come together where students can choose who and how they want to engage with attending multiple sessions for learning and growth.
