The Harris County High School Agriscience department is not only dedicated to teaching students about agriculture, but to help them learn employability skills with hands on work in the field that can help prepare them for a future career!

HCHS Ag instructor, Jay Borden, travels with his students to the STEAM farm to complete various projects such as cutting down trees, building rabbit houses, and clearing trails. With good intentions, the STEAM Farm is expected to be completed by the year 2024.
Elementary Ag Education:
The second block "Ag Leadership Class" ventures to Mulberry Creek, Pine Ridge, Park, and New Mountain Hill Elementary schools to teach students about agriculture. The second block class is composed of 25-30 students who teach grades K-4 every Tuesday and Thursday of the week.
