Mr. Hearn holds a Bachelor of Theatre Education from Columbus State University. While in his undergrad he spent much of his time volunteering with elementary aged students in Columbus and at Creekside doing theatre productions.

Mr. Hearn has a deep passion for theatre and education which has landed him in the perfect place of teaching drama at Creekside. He hopes that every student in his class, whether theatre is their thing or not, can leave the class feeling more confident with themselves and appreciates drama in a new way. The core of his teaching philosopy is that people are people and that includes the ones who are 10-12 years old! Everyone in his room is treated with the same respect and offered the same opportunties to help them grow.
