As outlined in our bylaws, the object of this Chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students of Harper Creek High School.

Harper Creek Students who achieve and maintain a 3.5 GPA will be invited to our chapter during the second semester of their sophomore and/or year. The admissions board looks at the whole student as they relate to the NHS pillars of service, character, leadership, and academics. For this reason, we encourage interested freshmen to seek out opportunities to serve and lead in their school and community. Acceptance is not guaranteed based on GPA alone. It is based on a formula where input from teachers, family, and their community is averaged with their academic achievement to create a picture of how students uphold the pillars prior to joining our chapter. The goal is to foster and grow this leadership and heart for service through our various opportunities.
