Navigating Google Classroom

Here is a step by step tutorial for joining a Google Classroom. Make sure you are logged into your HC student account before you start (it won't work with a parent account). You will also need the class code from your teacher.

How to use PowerSchool
Teachers are the middle school will be using PowerSchool to post grades. There is a variety of information that can be shared through PowerSchool. This video explains some of the different features that would be useful for parents to know.

Students should make sure to use good email etiquette when communicating through emails.
Accessing Outlook Email
Students can access their school email through the steps found in this step by step tutorial. Make sure to know the student user name (what they use to sign into a school computer) and their school ID number (found on their schedules).
What is Kami?
At the middle school many teachers will be using Kami as a way to let students edit PDF files. It is an extension that gets added to the student's Chrome Browser and can be used to open, read and annotate any PDF files. Here a quick video for parents and students.
