SCHOOL POLICY:

Cell phones brought to school must be kept out of sight throughout the day. Loss of a cell phone will not be investigated. Any unauthorized items brought on campus will be confiscated and may only be reclaimed by parents or other proper authorities. Cell phone expectations and consequences include the following:

• Phones should remain out of sight throughout the school day

• The first offense of the phone being displayed, is a verbal warning and request to put away

• The second offense of the phone being displayed may be a confiscation of the phone by the teacher until the end of the day • Upon request to give the phone to a staff member, students should immediately comply. Refusal to comply will result in immediate ISS for the remainder of that day, plus an additional day.

• The third offense is ISS for 3 days.

• Additional offenses may result in a parent conference in order for the parent to retrieve the phone and/or OSS

TEAM RULE:

STUDENT CELL PHONES: Student cell phone should not be with the student during the school day. They must be secured in their locker and turned off. If a student is using a cell phone or has a cell phone on them without permission, their cell phone may be confiscated and submitted to the office. The office staff will keep it in a secure location until the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) of the student come during school hours to retrieve it. Habitual cell phone infractions could result in disciplinary action.
