my husband

My husband, Josh, and I will have been married 15 years in March.

my girls

I have 2 daughters, Kynlee who is 13 going into the 8th grade, and Khloe who is 10 going into the 4th grade.

my dog

This is our dog, Sophie. She is my baby. She just turned 7 this year and is always by my side.

Batchelor's Degree and Master's in Reading

I received my Batchelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Henderson as well as my Master's in Reading Specialist.

LMIS

I received my Library Media Specialist endorsement from Southern Arkansas University.

I have been in education for 18 years teaching 1st through 4th grades throughout that time. I have taught in 3 different school districts: Magnet Cove my first 5 years, Bryant for 12 years, and now Harmony Grove. This will be my 2nd year as the Elementary Library Media Specialist at Harmony Grove and it is the best job ever!

A little About me:

Our girls are very active with sports and other school events, so when I am not teaching, I am usually at a game or event being their biggest cheerleader. I love watching them in their element.
I enjoy reading, cooking (especially baking), and crafting.
My family loves the Razorbacks and we try to go to a few games every year, if possible. We enjoy football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball.
I have to have my coffee in the morning, enjoy sweet tea, cherry cokes and pretty much anything sweet (especially chocolate).
I enjoy going to concerts and traveling (especially to the beach).
