Even though Codey Rocky can be coded using our iPads, we will be using the online/web-based version of a program called mBlock. (https://ide.mblock.cc/) this app can be used with or without a user account. We will be using it without an account during class, but...
Much like the studios on Code.org or Scratch Coding, mBlock can be used without any robots to design and code web-based games and apps.
In class, we will be using the app primarily for coding the Codey Rocky robot, so I do not plan on having students create user accounts. If you want to create accounts for your child to use beyond the classes, again, it is free.
