All about "Miss" Dorothy

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Dorothy Rikard and I am your JK teacher this year.  I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.  This is my 29th year of teaching preschool at Harding Academy Little Harding.  I earned my Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The University of Mississippi.  My husband, Gary, and I just celebrated our 37th anniversary.  We attend New Hope Christian Church.  Gary is the Security Manager for the Bartlett City Schools.  We have two boys, Will and Sam.  Both of my boys began their school careers at Little Harding.  Will is a 2009 graduate of Harding Academy.  He graduated from Rhodes College and teaches English at Jackson Christian, as well as, coaches the varsity football team.  His wife, Claire, is also a 2009 Harding graduate and is a pediatrician at the Jackson Clinic in Jackson, TN.  They have two children, Thomas, who will turn 2 this September, and Marshall who will turn 1 in December. Sam is a 2014 graduate of Harding Academy and is a Facility Manager at Bartlett City Schools.  His wife, Kate, is a 2015 graduate of Harding and is a teacher with the Bartlett City Schools.  They have one child, MJ, who will turn 3 this October, and currently attends Little Harding in "Miss" Morgan's class.  When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family, play with my grandchildren, walk, and watch sports.   My favorite team is the Ole Miss Rebels.
