The Requirements for joining our chapter of the National Art Honor Society are below along with the application: the APPLICATION PROCESS OPENS IN JUNE each year (GOOGLE FORM BELOW), we will verify grades in July and you will be notified via your school e-mail if you have been accepted before our first meeting in September.
-A strong interest in Art and the desire to participate in a minimum of 2 monthly meetings, art shows, and art-related community service.
-Current enrollment in an Art Class at HHS and continued enrollment throughout your membership.
-A minimum of 1.5 completed full-year Art Courses at HHS when applying for membership. (1.5 credits or more)
-A GPA of 92 or higher in Art classes completed.
-An overall GPA of 85 or higher.
-Good standing within the school community is expected throughout membership. (ie: abiding by all rules in the HHS Code of Conduct)
-Active participation in art-related clubs during the applicant's pre-membership years: (Art Club, Zephyr, Photojournalism/Senior Video is highly recommended)
