January 12th to January 23rd, 2026
The House Coin Challenge is a fun and competitive school fundraiser where students and their families collect and donate money—coins, bills, checks, and online—to earn points for their designated house. The goal is to outscore the other houses by raising the most funds. Each contribution to a house adds positive points, motivating students to rally support from home and the community.
Competing Houses:
Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, and Rêveur
How to Participate:
Drop off your coins and dollars in your House’s collection buckets located in the Main Office.
All U.S. coins and dollars count—no foreign currency, please.
Checks can be made payable to: Harambee PTO
You can also donate online - just scroll to the bottom of this page
Point System:
Each cent equals 1 point: $0.01 (penny) = 1 point, $5.00 = 500 points.
Tracking the Challenge:
Buckets are counted daily, and totals are updated each morning in the Office.
