What a special day for our Rotary Club Christmas Program. Seeing the room filled with kids, families, smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit is exactly what this event is all about.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible:
Thank you to Pam Schahrer and Driscoll Motors for serving as our gift collection point and helping make the logistics seamless. We truly appreciate your support of this program year after year.
Thank you to our teachers and educators for everything you do—not just today, but every single day. Your dedication to our kids and families does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for your partnership.
Thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for bringing the magic of Christmas to life and creating memories these kids will never forget.
A huge thank you to the Pontiac Elks Lodge for hosting us and for providing a wonderful meal. Your generosity, hospitality, and continued support mean so much to our club and our community.
And finally, thank you to our Rotarians and volunteers who show up, lend a hand, and give from the heart. This is one of the best programs we do as a club, and it’s because of all of you.
Merry Christmas from our Rotary family to yours.
Thank you to everyone who joined us last night at the Pontiac Elks Lodge for our annual Rotary Banquet! It was a night full of celebration, recognition, and community spirit.
Citizen of the Year: A big congratulations again to Deb Howard, Director of United Way of Livingston County, for her incredible dedication to service and leadership.
Scholarship Winners: We were proud to recognize three outstanding local students: Andrew Lauritsen, Lilian Rainbolt, and Jaden Lucas, with Rotary scholarships to support their future goals.
Community Avenue of Service Award: Congratulations to our Pontiac Club for receiving from Rotary District 6490 the Community Avenue of Service Award!! Our assistant Governor Mary Hodson presented the award to Nathan Joerndt. This award represents one of Rotary International’s Five Avenues of Service, focusing on improving quality of life and meeting local needs.
And of course, we wrapped the evening with our Vacation Raffle. Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to everyone who supported the cause.
Together, we do so much.
