The theme of the celebration was “Panch Mahabhuta – The Thread of Creation,” based on the five essential elements of nature—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. The event aimed to highlight the importance of these elements in sustaining life and maintaining balance in the universe. Students from various classes presented mesmerizing performances depicting each of the five elements through dance, drama, and music. The beautifully choreographed acts reflected reativity, coordination, and deep understanding of nature’s harmony. The vibrant costumes, graceful movements, and thematic presentations left the audience spellbound. The event concluded with a message of unity, environmental awareness, and gratitude towards nature.Overall, the celebration was a grand success and a memorable experience for everyone.
Diwali Celebration
Students of Hanumant High School joyfully celebrated Diwali on Friday 17th October 2025, the festival of lights, with great enthusiasm and unity. The celebration began with a Unity Meal, where students and teachers came together to share food, symbolizing harmony and togetherness. After the meal, a class-wise Rangoli Competition was held, where students showcased their creativity by designing beautiful and colorful rangolis that added festive charm to the school premises. The event spread happiness, teamwork, and cultural spirit among all. It was indeed a delightful celebration that reflected the true essence of Diwali —joy, unity, and creativity.
CBSE - Activity - Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge
Our school successfully conducted Level 1 of the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2025 in accordance with CBSE Circular No. Acad-69/2025 dated 19th September 2025. The examination was organized for students of Grades VIII, IX, and X with the objective of enhancing their mathematical skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. The challenge aimed to provide students with a platform to apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations, thereby developing critical thinking and analytical abilities.
The Level 1 examination was held on the school campus in a structured and well-coordinated manner. All eligible students from Grades VIII to X participated in the challenge with great enthusiasm. The question paper and answer key were provided by CBSE through its official portal, ensuring uniformity and transparency. The test was of one-hour duration and consisted of multiple-choice questions for a total of 40 marks. The school ensured smooth invigilation and proper examination protocol throughout the process.
Mental Health Awareness ( Celebration)
Hanumant High School celebrated CBSE Mental Health Week from 4th to 10th October under the theme “Community: Supporting Mental Well-being Together.” A PowerPoint presentation was shown in the morning assembly highlighting important topics such as mental well-being awareness, understanding emotions, managing stress, building positive thoughts, and supporting peers who may feel anxious or low. The session also discussed the Government of India’s initiative “Manodarpan,” launched by the Ministry of Education in 2020, which provides psychosocial support through counselling, ‘Sahyog’ sessions, and ‘Paricharcha’ interactions with experts. Students were encouraged to recognize the importance of mental health, understand their emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies. The programme promoted the Whole School Approach, emphasizing that everyone—students, teachers, parents, and the community—plays a vital role in maintaining mental wellness. The event concluded with the message that together we can create a caring and supportive environment where mental health is valued and nurtured.
Primary - Activity - Solute, Solvent, and Solution(STEM)
Grade 4 students enthusiastically participated in a STEM-based science activity by preparing lemon juice, conducted on 9th October, 2025 in subject Science.
They brought their own lemons, water, sugar, salt, spoons, lemon squeezers, and transparent disposable glasses to conduct the activity independently and safely.
Students observed that adding solids like sugar and salt to water did not raise the water level, because the tiny particles of the solid fit into the spaces between water molecules, forming a uniform solution.
This hands-on activity connected with STEM in a simple and meaningful way:
Science: Understanding solute, solvent, and solution through observation.
Technology: Using a lemon squeezer as a tool to extract juice efficiently.
Engineering: Following a process to combine ingredients and create the solution.
Mathematics: Measuring quantities of water, sugar, and salt accurately.
The experiment made learning interactive, practical, and fun, helping students connect scientific concepts to everyday life while enjoying a refreshing treat!
Primary - Activity - Nutritious and Non-Nutritious Food
As part of Class 3’s lesson “Chatori Chuniya”, an engaging activity was conducted to help students identify nutritious and non-nutritious foods. The students wrote the names of various food items and categorized them into two groups—nutritious and non-nutritious. They also drew pictures of different food items and participated in a discussion about which foods are healthy and which can be harmful to our health.
Key Highlights:
• Students classified cereals, fruits, vegetables, milk, curd, and pulses as nutritious foods.
• Items such as chips, pizza, cold drinks, and burgers were categorized as non-nutritious foods.
• Each child shared their personal experiences about their favorite foods and how these foods affect their bodies.
Primary - Activity - Poem Recitation
A delightful poem recitation activity was conducted for Grade 1 based on the poem “Aaj Hai Holi” from
the Ankur Pathmala textbook. The students enthusiastically recited the poem with expressions, rhythm,
and confidence.
To make the activity more creative and engaging, students used flashcards of animals . The flashcards
illustrated animals playing with colors, enjoying the festival, and spreading joy, which added a fun and
imaginative dimension to the recitation.
Primary - Activity - Addition up to 99
A clay addition activity was conducted for Grade 1 students to strengthen their understanding of 2-digit addition without regrouping. Students were given sums involving two numbers and created small clay balls to represent each number. They combined the sets, counted the total, and wrote the answers in their notebooks. For HOTS, they solved addition problems with three 2-digit numbers, applying sequential addition.
Objectives of the activity were to help students visualize numbers, build number sense, and connect mathematical thinking with hands-on modelling. Learning outcomes included accurate performance of 2-digit addition, representing numbers with clay models, solving three-number sums confidently, and improving fine motor skills alongside concentration.
Primary - Activity - Light, Sound and Force
On 16th October 2025, an engaging and interactive activity on the topic “Light, Sound, and Force” was conducted for Grade 3 students as part of EVS subjet. The purpose of the activity was to provide students with hands-on learning experiences to help them understand the basic concepts of these forms of energy through observation and experimentation.
Students were taken outdoors to the school premises where they explored different sounds in their surroundings. They identified pleasant and unpleasant sounds by listening to the chirping of birds in the garden (pleasant sound) and the honking of the school bus horn (unpleasant sound). This helped them understand that sounds can be classified based on how they make us feel.
Next, the activity moved to the playground, where students performed experiments related to force. They participated in activities such as kicking a football and throwing a ball, through which they discovered that every action requires a push or a pull to make an object move. This activity was integrated with their Physical Education (PE) subject, helping them connect science with movement and sports.
Primary - Activity - Division Mat
Grade 2 students took part in an interactive division mat activity to understand the concept of division in a fun and visual way. Each student was given different numbers and used the mat to explore three division strategies: equal sharing, number line jumps, and repeated subtraction. For equal sharing, students divided objects into groups and drew circles to represent each group, filling them with the correct number of items. On the number line, they practiced jump counting by marking and counting steps that matched their division problem. Finally, students used repeated subtraction to solve their division sums step by step, subtracting the same number several times and observing when they reached zero. This hands-on approach allowed students to make connections between different division strategies, strengthen their mathematical reasoning, and build a strong foundation in division through active participation and creative thinking.
