Welcome to my website (although it is under revision). I am an eighth grade Earth Science teacher in Hanover, NH. I have been teaching in NH for over 20 years, before that I have taught in Oregon and Philadelphia. On this site, have collected Earth Science lesson plans for you to access. My hope is to make it easier to have students to learn about the Earth. We all cannot live next to the Flume, the Merrimack River, or Mount Monadnock. I want teachers and students to appreciate the geology and science right in their own backyard, because it is fascinating in its own right.
I produced this website during my Christa McAuliffe sabbatical from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. I have an interest in understanding our landscapes and what helped to create them. During the sabbatical, I was able to produce a film about Glacial Lake Hitchcock and the Connecticut River Valley.
