American Modern History

Course Description: This course is designed to give students an in-depth understanding of historical events that have shaped American society since World War II. The course will examine the Cold War, the Korean and Vietnam Wars and other historically significant events and their effects on American government and society. It will give students an understanding of America’s political system and international relations with European, Mid-Eastern and Far-Eastern nations from World War II to present day.
