Buddy Pack Program helps feed hungry students in Hannibal
The Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success program wants to ensure that no child goes hungry. Its Buddy Pack program distributes buddy packs filled with nutritious foods for Hannibal school students for the weekends. Many people have probably heard the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child. "That's the idea behind the Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success's Buddy Pack program. Volunteers who make the program possible say its success depends on the whole community.

Over 30 local organizations awarded Community Foundation grants
Thirty-eight area not-for-profits received a total of $136,554 in competitive grant funding from the Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, according to the Community Foundation.
