The Mission of Hanford Christian School is:
Partnering with families and the church to educate, equip, and inspire
every student to serve the world for Christ.
Meet Sarah Swett:
I am excited about the opportunity to teach your first-grader this year! It is my desire that God would use me to help your child develop an excitement for learning and love for Christ Jesus. I am confident that through our teamwork and Christ's faithfulness, we will see growth in so many ways this year: academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
This is our class Google Site, where you will receive weekly updates. You can also find important information about homework, weekly expectations, and upcoming events. When you have a moment, please visit the Resource Links page to find quick links to helpful information throughout this school year. On this home page, you will also see a link to the Warrior Weekly, and my contact information.
If you have any questions or concerns, please text or call within working hours (Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm). Please be advised that I will not answer during school hours, and I will do my best not to answer after working hours due to the needs of my family. Please feel free to call or text me at (559) 415-0076 or email me at sswett@hanfordchristian.org (email is preferred followed by text).
Finally, our theme this year is "Friends with Jesus". The theme verse is John 15:15b, (beginning in 15:15) "No longer do I call you servants for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you." "In Christ, we are not merely His subjects but His beloved friends, brought into covenant fellowship through His saving work. Friendship with Jesus is rooted in His sovereign grace, sacrificial love, and and ongoing presence through the Spirit...God initiates friendship with us, sustains it by His covenant promises, and calls us to live in grateful obedience as His redeemed people." (HCS Key Truth & Application for the year, 2026-27)
As we seek Him and ask Him to lead us and empower us by His Holy Spirit, we can know that we have friendship with Christ Jesus and wholeheartedly pursue the call of Christ Jesus who died to set us free from sin and called us into His glorious light. Let us pray together and build one another up and encourage one another throughout the year!
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
Sarah Swett
