For the first three weeks of Nursery, we stagger the starting dates for the children. We start with a few children and increase the group size slowly until the whole class is together.

This allows time for the children to have close interactions with adults in their first days and for us to support them in building secure relationships. 

Your child will begin with a short session and build up to a full school day. This helps to build their stamina and allows for the energy it takes to adjust to new people and a new setting.

During the Stay and Play sessions we will talk to you about the best date for your child to start.

Some children will need more time to settle in and we can start them earlier.
