Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Scott and I grew up in Brownstown, IL. I am the middle of three girls and I graduated from Brownstown Jr/Sr High School in 2009. I went on to attend Lake Land Community College in Mattoon, IL where I earned my Associate's Degree in Science in 2011. Following this I attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Carbondale, IL where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences Education in 2016. Finally, I attended Greenville University in Greenville, IL where I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction in 2019.
This summer I moved to Morris, MN with my husband Drew, our son Benjamin, and our two cats Joey and Chandler.
This is my fifth year teaching high school science courses. I am passionate about teaching science classes. I strive to create engaged, enthusiastic learners who grow academically and personally throughout the school year.
I also enjoy spending time hiking, reading, and cooking with my family.
