Hello! My name is Mallary Bursack. I grew up in a small town in southwest Minnesota. I earned my undergraduate degree in K–12 Special Education (Academic Behavioral Strategist) from Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU). I later completed my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Educational Specialist degree in K–12 Principal and Director of Special Education through Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM).
Before my current role, I taught 9th–12th grade special education in Morris for five years. During that time, I had the opportunity to work closely with students and families to support academic, behavioral, and transition goals. Those experiences strengthened my passion for helping all students reach their full potential and building positive relationships with families.
My husband, Brandon teaches 6th grade, and together we welcomed our son in January of 2026, who keeps us busy and brings so much joy to our lives.
In my free time, I enjoy golfing, fishing, playing pickleball, cooking, and baking. I love spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends.
I look forward to partnering with you and supporting your child throughout the school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Working together is one of the best ways we can help students succeed.
Go Owls!
