Coaching / Basketball Background
Since I was a little kid, basketball has been a part of my life and family tree for many years. My grandfather, Erv Inniger, played basketball at Indiana University for the Hoosiers. He then went on to play for the Minnesota Muskies and Miami Floridians in the ABA, which is the current NBA. My other grandfather, Richard Zollar, played college basketball for the Vikings at Valley City State University.
Both of my parents, Brett and Holly, played college basketball for Concordia College in Moorhead and through basketball is how they met. My brother Tate and I both played high school basketball for the Trojans at Barnesville High School where we were fortunate to have coaches and teammates that taught us the game and valued us as individuals.
When I was at Valley City State University, I was fortunate enough to join the women's basketball staff as a student assistant and got to work with some amazing coaches, student assistants, and very talented basketball players. The last two years, I served as the C-Team girls basketball coach at Lake Park Audubon where I was once again blessed and grateful to grow my knowledge and expertise as a basketball coach / role model.
I am confident in myself as a coach, but understand I still have so much to learn to help me grow as a leader for the girls basketball program here at Hancock!
