Welcome Back to Summer Youth Camps

Hampton's Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Department is excited to welcome everyone back to summer youth camps this year, featuring a number of popular and fun activities for kids, including:

  • Camp Hampton Summer Adventure Camp: June 21-Aug. 27, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Campers ages 6-12 can enjoy activities such as art and design, crafts, sports, and more. The cost is $50 a week per child.

  • Camp Hampton Summer Fun Camps: June 21-Aug. 27, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Campers age 6-12 can enjoy weekly themes such as Mad Science and All about Nature, along with special projects. The cost for members is $80 per week per child. The cost for non-members is $100 per week per child.

  • North Phoebus "All-City" Basketball Camp: July 6-Aug. 27, 9 a.m.-2 p. m. Campers ages 8-14 can take part in a high-energy training camp focused on the fundamentals of basketball, including shooting, dribbling, and defense. All basketball campers will receive a post-camp report to help them develop a stronger game. $50 per week per child.

And don't forget about Camp Superstar, part of the Hampton Therapeutic Recreation program. It's designed for individuals ages 6-22 with disabilities and requires advance registration and assessment. From June 21-Aug. 27 they can spend 10 weeks with their peers learning new things and making new friends. Participants must be able to use the restroom with minimal support, follow 2 step directions and have the desire to participate. There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee, and the cost is $100 per week per individual for members and $120 per week per child for non-members. Registration begins May 24.
