The Kecoughtan Choral Department, under the direction of Corinne Huber, accompanied by Jeanne Capriotti, choreographed by Austin Rosenberg, consists of two show choirs that compete across the state: Harbor Lights and Touch of Jade in addition to two sections of Mixed Choir and a section of General Music for students special needs. The Choral Department isn't just responsible for vocal music in the building, Huber also mentors upperclassmen in order to recover high school credits so that it is possible for them to graduate on-time and with options.
This site is designed to help students and parents navigate the many facets of being a part of a choir and will serve as a place to keep everyone organized moving throughout the school year. Any questions, comments or concerns can be directed to Mrs. Huber at chuber@hampton.k12.va.us
We hope to see you at all of our performances throughout the year and we are always in need of donations and volunteer support. Please reach out to Mrs. Huber if you, or someone you know, may be interested in these opportunities.
