An Introduction to Science Inquiry at Home

These Science at Home Investigations will help you explore science virtually. Use the essential questions at the beginning of each virtual lab to help guide your exploration. Don’t forget to record your observations and results in your science journal!

Science Journal

Consider creating a science journal to record observations, take notes, and reflect on your learning. The science journal may be on paper or on a computer. You could choose to use a spiral notebook or a composition book. You could have a journal for each topic, each quarter, or one for the whole year.

Essential Questions: Where/when does life begin? Where is the beginning of a cycle?
