Title I is a federally funded program that operates under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. It is designed to assist with instructional programs in school divisions and schools with high percentages of low-income students. The Title I program helps to ensure that all children have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education.

How are our Title I funds used at Forrest?

At Forrest, Title I funds are used to provide the following staffing positions:

• Literacy Support Specialist - Mrs. Shari Drake
