Students in kindergarten through fifth grade come to the library during resource to check out books, to learn research skills, and to learn about internet safety. Students will share the knowledge they gain from library resources by collaborating with other students.
Improving literacy is a school-wide goal supported by the school library. Students should set a goal of reading of at least five books per month, which includes 20 minutes or more of reading time each day. Students who read perform better academically.
