Pay Rate for Summer School Personnel
Teachers: $40/hour
Associate Teachers $25/hour
Nurse: $25/hour
Instructional Assistants: $17.00 or current pay rate if currently employed as an IA
Security: $17.50 or current pay rate if currently employed as a security officer
Clerical Support: $16.52 or current pay rate if currently employed in a clerical position
Criteria:
Teachers may only teach classes within their endorsement area(s)
Summer school staff must be available to work all contracted summer school days including the professional development days, scheduled for June 18th, June 22nd. Staff hours 7:30am-1:00pm
Student days: Mondays-Thursdays:June 24th, - July 23rd.
Completed applications are due Friday, March 20, 2026 and does not guarantee employment. Site Coordinators will work with building administrators to select applicants. Applicants will be notified of their employment status by June 11, 2026
Acceptance of a position does not guarantee employment for more than 1 year.
Summer employment is contingent upon student enrollment at each summer school site. Please let your principal know if you have questions regarding summer school employment.
