How to Search for and Request Resources

Accessing the Online Catalog

• Go to mmerccatalog.hamline.edu/ and click on MMERC

• Log in (upper right corner)

• You do not need to be logged in to browse the catalog or add titles to My List or email resource requests (compiled information will not be saved between sessions without logging in)

• User Name: initial of first name followed by last name

• Password: unique number assigned by MMERC staff

Searching Tips

• A POWER search provides more searching options

• Searching Grade Levels:

  • Keyword: ECh (early childhood), Pri (primary), Int (intermediate), MiS (middle school), HgS (high school), Adt (adult), PEd (parent education), TEd (teacher education)

  • Specific grade (for example, grade 2)

  • It is recommended to search both ways as search results can vary.
