After completing undergraduate major, students will be able to:
Develop depth and breadth of knowledge (concepts and theories) within Digital and Studio Arts.
Explore and apply methods used within the Digital and Studio Arts.
Apply knowledge of Liberal Arts concepts and methods to practice.
Engage in primary production of creative/critical work.
Music
Students will demonstrate competent reading and interpretation of notated music.
Students will evaluate musical selections for stylistic, historical and cultural characteristics using discipline specific vocabulary.
Students will demonstrate teamwork, leadership and performance skills in musical collaborations that provide a foundation for life-long musical engagement.
Students will create original musical ideas through composition, improvisation or other creative project.
Students will demonstrate ability to use music technology.
Performance, Production, and Community
Students will exhibit the ability to work collaboratively work on teams to critically and creatively solve problems.
Students will demonstrate the ability to make creative and scholarly choices, synthesizing primary and secondary sources.
Students will exhibit the ability to evaluate the ways in which theatre and performance both responds to and shapes historical, cultural and political forces.
Students will demonstrate how to critically evaluate works of art.
