Cut-Off Saw

Pneumatic cutoff saw

The pneumatic cutoff saw is used in our shop to rough crosscut pieces to manageable lengths. Rough crosscutting is a sawing operation and is the first step to our machining process when working with rough sawn lumber. Our goal is to rough crosscut pieces to lengths 1" longer than our final part length.

The pneumatic cutoff saw is widely used in production facilities for quickly and accurately cutting solid lumber to specific lengths. The saw is used for repetitive cuts at the same length, and also for defecting material before sending to another operation.
