I am THRILLED to be teaching kindergarten! Five and six year olds have a natural sense of wonder and curiosity about their world. They approach learning and engage others with joy and endless energy! It is a privilege to come to work each day and experience the world through their eyes. I have taught for 12 years. I have 6 years of kindergarten experience, 3 years as a reading interventionist, and 3 years of teaching preschool. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute in Chicago.
My husband Andy and I live in Menomonee Falls. We have three sons: Owen is a sophomore at Hamilton High School, Liam is in 8th grade at Templeton Middle School, and Eli is in 6th grade at Silver Spring. They are involved in many activities: baseball, football, track, golf, fishing and basketball. We also have a dog named Bo. He is a 8-year old Labrador Retriever and he gets into all kinds of mischief!
When I have free time, I LOVE spending time with my family. I enjoy reading, jogging, paddle boarding, yoga, and gardening.
I'm looking forward to an AMAZING year!
