Suggestions span a variety of reading levels (even within a grade level)
Some books your child may feel comfortable reading independently
Some books may need to be read with your child, with your support
Some books may need to be read to your child
Click on the following library names to learn more about summer programming or to check out books. These summer reading programs can be very motivating, even for the most reluctant readers!
If you choose, download this reading log to document all of the book recommendations you read from Marcy teachers (first link above). Turn in the log to Mrs. Yellin at the beginning of the school year. She will randomly draw names. Winners will have the opportunity to win a free book.
