Homework

Daily assignments will be given. Students will be given time to complete assignments in class. If the student is unable to finish an assignment during class, it is expected they complete the assignment at home (as homework).

Additionally, students will be given a weekly MobyMax assignment that must done after school.

Standards Based Grading

The goal of standards based grading is to show growth. Often students will not be at a score of “4” in the beginning of the school year.  Throughout the school year we will provide you and your student with specific feedback around their progress as learners. Iit is our goal for every student to strive to reach a “4” by the end of the year.
   

Rather than traditional letter grades, look for the following scores on rubrics on assignments, assessments, and report cards.
