The open gym will be on Sunday, October 26th, from 3-4:30 pm in the New Gym. This is OPTIONAL, but it would be a great time to show Coach Grooms-Knudsen you are serious and ready to work, while also giving it a try before committing to the team at tryouts!" Tryout Clinic is as follows: November 4th - 5-8pm and November 5th - 5-8pm. Tryouts will be November 6th at 6pm.
Fans of science fiction and fantasy have a special opportunity on Saturday, November 15! Author Ben Wolf will be visiting the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library from 2 to 4 PM. Presented by Missouri Humanities and North Central Missouri College Upward Bound, the event is free and open to the public. Local Upward Bound high school students have played an important role in planning and promoting this event, giving the community a chance to engage with the author and the world of writing. Attendees will have the chance to learn about writing and publishing, meet the author in person, and even purchase signed copies of his books. Plus, everyone has a chance to win a Ben Wolf merchandise basket, generously provided by the Friends of the Library. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with a talented author, celebrate your love of reading, and support student involvement in the community!”
