Congratulations to our Penney Track & Field State Medalists!

Teagan Ford medaled in 3 events. Finishing 2nd in the 100m Dash (breaking her own school record with a 12.03), 4th in the 200m Dash, and 5th in the 400m Dash.

Jade Gray medaled in 3 events. Finishing 8th in the 800m Run, 3rd in the 1600m Run, and 2nd in the 3200m Run.

Hayden Krentz medaled in the 1600m Run finishing 8th.

Dawson Miller medaled in Discus finishing 4th.

Zain Pulliam medaled in Shot Put finishing 5th.

UPCOMING EVENTS

• Last Day of School Thursday, May 23rd.

• First Day of School is August 20, 2024 with an Early out at 1:00pm

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Summer Conditioning calendars are now available in the office.

• 3C Power in Partnership is interested in partnering with a student-led group whose primary goal is to prevent substance abuse in youth.  3C Power in Partnership will collaborate with the student group to provide information and resources.  If you have interest in creating such a group, please contact Renae Wattenbarger.

• The student lounge is open for business. Please read the rules carefully! Foosballs may be checked out from Ms. Wattenbarger or Tammy in the office. You are responsible for keeping the gaming tables and the furniture nice! There are cameras watching you! Stay tuned- there’s more to come!  

NOTICES

1. If you need a locker and have not been assigned one, please see the office.  

 ATTENTION:  DO NOT open the outside doors for people trying to get inside the building.  This is for your safety.  We need to ensure the safety of the school.  

ATTENTION:  There should be NO students in the weight room or gym outside of school hours unless there is a staff member present to supervise.
