Hope for Hall - Inclusive Playground

Wauka Mountain PTO is sponsoring a Dunking Booth and Kona Ice day for students as a reward for reaching the school's goals during WaukaThon this year

May 10, we will host a Dunking Booth where classes can dunk a teacher or administrator,

and May 11 every student will receive a Kona Ice

May 10th is a HAT DAY

Students can pay $1 to wear a hat, and proceeds will support the completion of the Reader's Patio next to the Car Rider Line

We have a few yearbooks for left for sale; $30, first come first served. Call the front office if you would like to claim one

5th Grade Banners

From our 5th Grade Team:

Hello 5th Grade Parents!

It is hard to believe that our 5th graders will be graduating from elementary school in just a few weeks! We are excited to announce some of the special events we have planned for them in the upcoming weeks. Please add these dates to your calendars.

Fifth Grade Banners- You are welcome to create a banner to be placed on the fence facing Brookton-Lula Road. Families that choose to recognize their fifth grade student(s) with a banner may hang them between May 1 - May 24. This is optional. We ask that families remove their banners by May 24th.

Fifth Grade Dairy Queen Party- Monday, May 22nd we will celebrate all of our 5th graders with a Dairy Queen party on the playground. We ask that each student bring in $6 to cover the cost of their boxed lunch and ice cream. This party is for students only, however, families are invited to attend our 5th grade graduation ceremony.

Fifth Grade Ceremony- On Tuesday, May 23rd beginning at 9:00 a.m. we will have our 5th grade graduation ceremony. This will be in the gym for our 5th graders to be recognized in a special way. Parents and other guests are invited to attend.

Thank you for sharing your children with us over the years. Each one has so much to offer our community. Please continue to encourage them to work hard, be kind, and never forget that Wauka Mountain will always love them.

Community Extracurricular Opportunities

We are so proud of all of the hard work and dedication that this group of running club kids demonstrated...they made Wauka proud this weekend at the Fit Families 5k!!

If you are having lunch with your student, please check the weather. We can not accommodate visitors indoors, currently, and the only space we have to share is outside on the picnic tables.

Lunch with Students

Beginning on 9/13 we are excited to be able to welcome family members to eat lunch with their student on select days. We ask that the following guidelines are observed:

Each student will be limited to 2 guests. Each guest must have ID, and at least 1 guest must be listed in the student's Infinite Campus profile as an approved contact (ie; household member or other approved contact); you may check this information via parent portal.
Guests must check in at the front office and wait to meet their student there.
Please send a note with your student that day to give to their teacher.
Eating areas will be outside, and subject to weather. Guests will not be allowed to eat in the cafeteria, though they may go through the line and get a tray.
Due to safety and available space, we will limit the number of overall students that may have guests to 3 or 4 per grade level per day. Guests must sign in using THIS LINK . If a date is not available, it is because all of the available slots have been taken at that time.
Due to the limited availability of slots to join your students at lunch, please do not sign up for multiple or consecutive dates at one time. This will allow more people to enjoy this time with their students.
Your student will need to come back to the front office after lunch, and we will return them to class. Guests will not be able to walk there student back to class.

Lunch & Snack Note - Please do not send your students with carbonated sodas for snack or in their lunchboxes. Sugary or caffeinated beverages are strongly discouraged
