Busy Traffic Pattern - Map #1

Car Rider Pattern - Map #2

Car Rider Drop off

Students need to be in the building by 7:45 to avoid being marked tardy

Unless you have received prior approval from Wauka Mountain administration, please do not drop off your student in the bus lane or in front of the school.

Car riders will enter campus from HWY 52 to Dinnan Drive. If traffic is backed up, please do not make a left onto campus. Rather, go to the next driveway at the transfer center and make a U-turn (Map #1). Then, follow the road around the field to the drop off area (Yellow highlight in the picture Map #2).

After 7:45, or when checking a tardy student in, please use the front office entrance.

*** Any student that is not in the building, or is dropped off anywhere other than the car rider line (without prior administrative approval) will be marked Tardy.

As we work towards independence please work with your students so they are prepared to exit the vehicle with their belongings prior to drop off. We will close the car rider line after the tardy bell and parents will need to walk their students into the front office.

If your student will require assistance, please roll your window down so staff can respond more quickly to assist.

There are a few reminders below regarding attendance, tardies & transportation

All students must be dropped off in the car rider line or ride the bus to school

All students not in the building by 7:45 will be marked tardy

The latest a student can be checked out is 1:45pm

Unless it is an emergency, we cannot make changes to a student's transportation after 1pm

***Parents or Guardians must present ID when checking a child out of school***

Beginning on 9/8 we are excited to be able to welcome family members to eat lunch with their student on select days. We ask that the following guidelines are observed:

Each student will be limited to 2 guests. Each guest must have ID, and at least 1 guest must be listed in the student's Infinite Campus profile as an approved contact (ie; household member or other approved contact); you may check this information via parent portal.
Guests must check in at the front office and wait to meet their student there.
Please send a note with your student that day to give to their teacher.
Eating areas will be outside, and subject to weather. Guests will not be allowed to eat in the cafeteria, though they may go through the line and get a tray.
Due to safety and available space, we will limit the number of overall students that may have guests to 3 or 4 per grade level per day. Guests must sign in using THIS LINK . If a date is not available, it is because all of the available slots have been taken at that time.
Due to the limited availability of slots to join your students at lunch, please do not sign up for multiple or consecutive dates at one time. This will allow more people to enjoy this time with their students.
Your student will need to come back to the front office after lunch, and we will return them to class. Guests will not be able to walk their student back to class.

Note for Students who eat Breakfast at school

Please have your student to school on time so they can eat and be ready for instruction.

Students must be dropped off in the car rider line before 7:45.

Any student that is not in the building, or is dropped off anywhere other than the car rider line (without prior administrative approval) will be marked Tardy.

Lunch & Snack Note - Please do not send your students with carbonated sodas for snack or in their lunchboxes. Sugary or caffeinated beverages are strongly discouraged
