Mrs. Martin's AP Human Geography Prologue Course

Before you begin your journey into AP Human Geography, I would like you to review some important concepts you last studied in 7th grade.

In 7th grade World History, you focused on the history, cultures, and developments of different regions around the world. AP Human Geography builds on that foundation by asking you to think about how and why people, ideas, and goods move across the globe, and how human actions shape the world we live in today. You will use the knowledge from 7th grade to better understand patterns, relationships, and changes in human geography across different places and times.

This summer assignment is designed to help you refresh your understanding of key ideas that were not covered during your 8th grade Georgia History course. It will also give you a head start by introducing a few topics we will explore more deeply during the upcoming school year
