CREATING A CULTURE OF HOPE, RESILIENCE, AND BELONGING!
At LCCA, everyone belongs in Sources of Strength! Whether you're passionate about making our school a more positive place, love planning events, want to meet new people, or just want to see what all the buzz is about... you have a home in Sources. đź’™Â
At its core, Sources of Strength is a youth suicide prevention program. But instead of focusing on the sadness and darkness surrounding suicide, we focus on hope, connection, and resilience. Our goal is to help create the most positive school community possible—one where every student knows they matter, has trusted adults and peers to turn to, and can recognize the strengths and supports available when life gets hard. We believe that by building strong relationships and healthy coping skills before a crisis happens, we can help ourselves and those we care about find hope instead of hopelessness.
Each year we host 2 Field Days, go on field trips (including the amazing and inspiring Thrive & Connect Summit hosted at UNG), plan and execute a fun and meaningful Sources of Strength week, and much more! Have ideas on what could make our school an even better place? Join us!!!

When we are stuggling to find our strengths, a glance at this wheel can often help!Â
Can you identify a strength in at least one of these areas? If yes, lean on it! If you cannot, let's chat about building some strengths within your day to day!
