The start to the new school year has gone very smooth. We are excited to have our wonderful little Wildcats back in the building. Lanier School for Inquiry, Investigation and Innovation has opened very strong even as we implement covid health and safety protocols.
Please utilize the parent portal to monitor your child's learning as we utilize Canvas for in person and remote learning opportunities. Our teachers are eager to have open two way communication so please let them know which mode(s) you prefer (phone, text, email, zoom).
Our arrival and dismissal procedures are running very well after the first week of school. Reminder: School day begins at 7:45 (students in their desk). Car pick up is 2:12 (K-2) & 2:22 (3-5/siblings). Please have car sign/number clearly displayed. I appreciate your support, patience and understanding as we return to school.

When your child is marked absent from school, Infinite Campus messenger will contact you with a message asking for you to let the school know why the child is absent. Please call the school or email the teacher to let us know about the absence. Also, please remember to send a parent or doctor's excuse to the teacher. Due to the current conditions of the pandemic, it's important for the teacher to know if your child is absent due to illness.

This is an elementary-school-based program that teaches students, teachers and staff how healthy habits help build strong bodies and strong minds. When students practice healthy habits, they are more likely to perform better at all levels of academic achievement: academic performance, education, behavior, and cognitive skills and attitudes. The Strong4Life Challenge Program helps educate students about the importance of following healthy habits, and we are committed to helping schools like yours create healthy school environments where children can learn, play and thrive. An energetic team will provide virtual visits including interactive education.

Have access to one-on-one support from Strong4Life to meet your individual school needs and goals.
Our Strong4Life Kick-Off event is on Monday, September 13th at 7:45 am! Be sure to be on time to class so you don't miss out on the fun!

We are excited to offer many opportunities through the school counseling program at LSi3. Mrs. Edmonds, our school counselor, meets with students in classroom guidance to teach about emotions, friendship, conflict resolution and more! There will be small groups offered throughout the year to support students and teach students some of the skills they may need to be more successful in school and home. Individual therapy is available for students through agencies that come to our school and work closely with Mrs. Edmonds.
