UNG APPLICATION PROCESS
|Ivester Early College Application must be submitted
If not already done so, your online Howard E. Ivester Early College (IEC) application must be submitted. Be sure to monitor your personal email to ensure that your IEC application has been submitted. If you receive an email from Ivester with “ON HOLD” contact Mrs. Goss Immediately: (678-725-5419). You must gain admission to both Ivester Early College and UNG.

1. Go to the UNG Dual Enrollment Application here
**NOTE: A few 10th graders yearly may be accepted at Ivester Early College campus (only) with UNG, BUT the admissions requirements are higher for DE funding and require ACT or SAT at the Zell Miller level. Accuplacer and PSAT scores may not be used for DE funding of 10th graders for academics for USG or TCSG institutions. Talk to IEC administration if your scores meet the above requirements. **
2. It will direct you to log onto Ga Futures with your account (If you do not have an account you will need to select the Create Account button. Be sure to remember the Username and Password you create.)
3. Choose the COLLEGE PLANNING tab.
Next, Choose the COLLEGE APPLICATION link
Find University of N Ga
Click APPLY and fill out
Important Note:
Below are important answers to questions you will encounter when filling out the application under Enrollment Information:

LEAVE BLANK the question about the activities you have participated in high school.
Do you have an SAT or ACT fee waiver?
NO - You do not need a fee waiver code.
Under High School Information:
Please leave the Course information section blank.
Under Tuition Classification:
When it asks, “Are you applying for in-state tuition?” Choose “Yes”
Under Submit your Application:
Select the “Blue Fee Waiver” box and then sign your name at the bottom of the application and submit.
4. Email Charles.bell@hallco.org with a request to send your high school transcript to UNG.
*Ask Mr. Bell to send your PSAT OR Send your qualifying scores directly to UNG from Act.org or collegeboard.org

NOTE: Students MAY also take the Accuplacer online for UNG admissions = 243 Reading, 4 Writeplacer, 266 Math (Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics test -QRAS). GO TO UNG testing services to schedule the Accuplacer.
5. Upload your current copy of your student driver license, permit or passport to the application site or email to admissions-gvl@ung.edu along with your UNG ID Number. Email Charles.bell@hallco.org if you do not have an ID to send.
6. If you have not already, complete your GA FUNDING
*LIST ALL THREE COLLEGES (Lanier Tech, Brenau and UNG) even if you don’t think you are going to use that college.
7. Gain admissions to both IEC and UNG
8. Send ecdocs@hallco.org your acceptance email from UNG.
*If you receive an email with “ON HOLD” from Ivester contact Mrs. Goss Immediately: 678-725-7026
9. Once you get Ivester and UNG acceptance, you should receive an email within a week with an invite to a course. Sign into your Launchpoint and then follow the link in the email to request your courses.
10. Monitor your personal email to ensure questions from IEC and your college are answered.
