The learning commons manages a morning news show, the Falcon News Network (FNN). This news show is made up of several anchors, a producer, a video mixer operator, and a special events reporter. These positions are available to all fifth grade students.

The students are required to be in the learning commons production room each morning after arrival. Our broadcast is shown LIVE on our closed circuit system all week beginning at 7:40 am.

All 4th grade students are given the opportunity to fill out an application and audition for the morning news show at the end of their 4th grade school year.
