WHY SHOULD I GO?
Because TSA conferences are where everything comes together.
You get to take something you designed, built, researched, programmed, practiced, or created and see how it compares with work from students across the state and country.
You will also learn how to:
Work on a team
Meet deadlines
Present your ideas
Solve problems under pressure
Talk with judges and professionals
Lead others
Recover when something does not go as planned
Represent your school professionally
And yes — you will probably have a lot of fun doing it.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO WIN FOR IT TO BE WORTH IT.
Winning is great.
But TSA is also about attempting something difficult, improving your skills, meeting new people, and having experiences you could never get by simply sitting in a classroom.
Your first competition may not end with a trophy.
It may end with an idea for what you are going to build next.
Find an event. Join a team. Go somewhere.
That's TSA.
