Welcome Ms. Hannon
Hello! I'm Lillian Hannon. I am so excited to join the team! I married my husband Joey last April (my highschool sweetheart), and graduated from UGA the following December. I enjoy volunteering at my church, spending time with my friends and family as well as working on diy projects at our house. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to work with these kids. My mom, Lori Branam, has bragged about the students and staff of South Hall and I'm excited I get to become a part of the family.
Welcome Ms. Rodriguez
Hi there! My name is Caitlin Rodriguez. I'm the new ESOL teacher. In the past, I have taught 2nd grade and 6th/7th grade ELA at WLA. I'm excited to now hold an ESOL position, as I love languages and development. I speak Spanish and French. I have 4 kids, all in middle school and stay very busy between all of their activities. This position was a wonderful surprise and I'm so excited to join the team!
Welcome Mr. Velasquez
Hello, my name is Johnny Velasquez. I had the opportunity to go to South Hall Middle School and Johnson High School as a student. I graduated from Johnson High School in 2014. I am a proud father of a 2 year old son. I love to travel, hike, and spend time with my family. Before coming to South Hall, I worked with my dad and his lawn maintenance company. We still work together as I have time. Now, I am working as Para Professional in a special education classroom. I am thankful to be here and work with these wonderful students!
7th and 8th Family Engagement Night
On Veterans Day, we were able to honor our heroes and to remember their achievements, their courage, their dedication, and to thank them for their service to our country. We appreciate all of those that helped organize the breakfast and for the veterans who were in attendance on that day.
