My name is Gilbert G. Valdez, and I am elated to be your ELA 8 Teacher this school year. I was born and raised in the Philippines and hold both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in English. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of guiding students to grow not only as readers and writers but also as thinkers, communicators, and lifelong learners.

My teaching philosophy is to create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and motivated to reach their fullest potential. I believe that education is a shared journey, and I look forward to partnering with students, families, and the school community to make this school year both successful and memorable. 

Together, we will create a classroom where learning is meaningful, challenges are embraced, and growth is celebrated. Let’s make this school year an amazing one as we learn, grow, and achieve great things together.
